Masha followed it up with a third post, where she revealed that the “surgical team confirmed that they achieved a complete resection, successfully removing the cancer and leaving him with No Evidence of Disease.”

I thought stage 4 cancer meant it has spread to other parts of the body. In any case that sounds like great news. This will be followed up with chemo, of course.

The article says liver so I guess that's where it metastasized to, making it stage 4. Doubt they would resect his colon and liver at the same time.
