Arkansas is not in the South? Also, if they're going to use a photo I'd prefer a shot of the Drill Field or the area around the Chapel of Memories. Even Engineering row would look better than that shot.
100% Ark is not the south. The south consists of LA/MS/AL/GA/parts of FL and parts of TN. Unless your waterways are filled with gators, you're not in the south.

6. Iowa State University

Wild pick.
Based on the shit reasoning given for each of the 10, a predominant reason universities were selected was because of a lot of walking paths/green space.

- shocked that 'FoxWeather' is a website.

- not shocked that a low effort article about the top 10 beautiful college campuses is on a weather website.

- MSU's Campus Landscape department does a solid job. When I attended and every time I have visited since, which has been in various seasons, the campus looks solid- clean, kept, blooming flowers/trees/bushes, healthy trees and bushes, etc etc.

Isn't Arkansas considered the South too?

I have spend time on everyone of these campus's except for Iowa State.

And while MSU is the favorite, I gotta say UW is the most beautiful.
Was in Ames last week and took a tour of campus. It’s not bad at all.

Its quite nice. Is a really great campus and they have done a great job of integrating modern needs within the original layout. Campus flows well and there is a ton of mature growth within the main academic sections.

Calling it a top10 most beautiful campus in America is what someone who went there would do, if they were making a top10 list.

Yes it is a real website, and every time it rains they blame Biden.

it can be debated that only parts of Georgia are in the south.

Dixie Alley is southwest TN, MS, AL, and west Georgia. Maybe a little bit of northeast/east Louisiana. Everyone else are just wannabes.

I was in Champaign a few years ago for business. I decided to drive around the Illinois campus. I will acknowledge the possibility that I didn't see the right parts of campus, it was a bad time of year, whatever... But I was not particularly impressed.

I’d argue Arkansas as a whole is southern but NW Arkansas is extremely debatable.

While I understand rural setting and vastness of MSU’s campus doesn’t appeal to everyone. But those attributes should appeal to a lot of parents of college age kids. Also the appeal of safety vs an inner large city university UCLA, Ga Tech., LSU etc.

Last time I checked, yes it is. Not Southeast, but definitely South.

Sewanee: The University of the South is one of the most beautiful campuses in the country. https://new.sewanee.edu/

MSU definitely has a beautiful campus. One big plus is that it's not smack in the middle of a city (e.g., Alabama).

One of my good friends at State was from Humbolt, Iowa but his family had moved to near Tupelo for some reason. Maybe farming - I never asked. He was an outstanding electrical engineering student.

I consider the South any state that joined the Confederacy, so Arkansas qualifies. We share a border with them. I'm not sure how they wouldn't be considered part of the South.

5 or 6 years ago, a neighbor took their daughter to visit State; it was their first time to visit. They kept talking about how nice the campus was and how surprised they were.

The most beautiful one I have ever been on in the US is Washington & Lee. From what I have heard, Sewanee tops them all.

Anybody else ever been to University of California Santa Cruz? Sitting on top of a hill overlooking Monterey Bay, on a clear day you can see all the way to Carmel. Giant redwoods all across campus, with trails and a damn trout stream running through, fields of orange poppies at the edges of campus, and mountain lions. And probably a herd of three or four hundred deer. And quite a few undergraduate women considered it top-optional when I was there. That place was something else, founded by Ronnie Raygun back when he was governor of California.

So did NC, Virginia and Tejas, but no real "southerner" claims them. I doubt TX and Virginia even claim to be southern.
