Burnson was stiff in the opening monologue but very funny in the skits - Basketball: the high school musical. Guy who obsesses about making a wadded paper shot into an office waste basket. And a billioniainere on shark tank who invests in glasses that beep a warning when you look at *** and breasts. And KAT was really funny when they called on him in the audience.

It’s funny. It’s like folks just can’t believe it’s spelled the really simple obvious way. They wanna stick extra letters in there for no apparent reason.

I watched some of it, and thought the same. Really lame for a season opener.

it’s time for the 80-something Lorne Michaels to be put out to pasture. That show needs a younger edgier boss.

I dont watch the show but catch some of the skits on fb feed when they appear.

I thought the paper basketball skit was funny. When he called that lady a biatch and how he always wanted to be an office shooter got me. The musical one I thought was kinda dumb.

Its usually funnier when they have a host with comedic chops. Not some athlete. I enjoyed most of the jack black ones from earlier this year. That one with them at Chilis cracked me up.

The Highschool musical one was pretty good. Brunson, even as far as NBA players go, is pretty stiff. So youdl could tell this was very out of his element. But he did well, considering.
