Since the Pirate's demise I haven't felt nervous about an upcoming game. I always had the expectation that it would be an L if it was a good team. I am not expecting a W this week, but I do expect a good chance for one.

I felt the same way until I saw this month's schedule.Since the Pirate's demise I haven't felt nervous about an upcoming game. I always had the expectation that it would be an L if it was a good team. I am not expecting a W this week, but I do expect a good chance for one.
Also hearing that QB say how much he loves being at State. Counters that feeling that these guys are all just mercenaries.Having a real guy at QB changes everything. I honestly expect to have the better QB in every game we play, and that means we will be in every game. Exciting.
There are parts of the bill I like, but I don't like the "only one transfer" portion. I think that should have been two. Part of me thinks that Saban was trying to put things back into the favor of the Alabama's again so they can recruit two 5-stars at every position since they won't be able to leave whenever they want.If we didn’t have a MASH unit filled with defensive players, I would actually feel pretty good about this game.
Like the other poster, I was just about done at the end of last year. Winning helps a lot of ills, although the passion level is still muted to some extent.
I think if the bill passes and the portal gets fixed, it will prolly have me all the way back.
Damn you. I was just going to type that I'm not nervous at all because I have no expectations of winning or really being competitive. I was expecting to come out overhyped just like USCe and Mizzou but not be able to recover against Alabama. Then you went and posted that.
I was the same, read your post, clicked the link, and now I'm freaking out because maybe we have a shotDamn you. Fluff is fine. He was coming back in the game. Taylor is good. No need to try and make something out of nothing here. Relatively speaking we are good 4 games into a seasonKamario and Fluff are not 100%
Hopefully there is enough (physically) to provide the margin of victory....but not holding my breath.
And then you have to take into consideration the shaky front line. How many false start and holding penalties?
Being good and being 100% aren't the same thing.Fluff is fine. He was coming back in the game. Taylor is good. No need to try and make something out of nothing here. Relatively speaking we are good 4 games into a season
Why the damage control? Are you worried Alabama coaches are trolling Sixpack for inside info?Fluff is fine. He was coming back in the game. Taylor is good. No need to try and make something out of nothing here. Relatively speaking we are good 4 games into a season
There two edges are banged up and out for this week. I’m pointing out that being hurt and out are two different things. Every single team has some guys hurt not injured. Why the damage control? Are you worried Alabama coaches are trolling Sixpack for inside info?
Those guys are clearly banged up. Nothing wrong with stating the obvious.
You weren't reacting to the Bama players being out. That has nothing to do with this, so I'm not sure why you're bringing it up. Someone rightly pointed out that KT and Fluff are banged up and you squashed it with a "they're fine." Fluff has taken some serious abuse three games in a row and KT's gait obviously proves that he is nursing and trying to play through a hamstring injury. They're warriors, and they'll give everything they've got, but they're banged up for sure. There two edges are banged up and out for this week. This got turned into more that it actually is I think. Saban never came to Starkville prior to a game. They always bussed over the day of. Even morning games.Bama is driving over Sat morning for an 11 game. Getting there about 730. Means they gotta leave Tusk about 6. Means they gotta be up at 4 to get ready, eat and meet Good move or no?

Oh look Drebin trying an attention seeking clown AGAIN. Not gonna hijack this thread. I stand by what I said. Oh. Look at my track record over last year or so… have a good one. Or are you gonna try and challenge me again to meet at sonic in kosy or Durant …or is it south farm. You have no sources. I don't know why you do this to yourself.
