Dynamite reporting Mr. Nakos.

I hope your sources aren’t revealed and they get in trouble for talking to you. Really top notch stuff.

The way I understand turf toe is that he likely can't hurt it worse, but that it's incredibly painful and the recovery is slow.

Even if I'm wrong, it just sucks. This LSU team is vulnerable. With both teams at full strength I think we'd be favored.

I was told by a non-healthcare professional, so not sure where they were getting it, that if it's grade 1, you can probably play on it without making it worse if you tape it, wrap it, whatever to immobilize it some but that playing on a Grade 2 turf toe injury is likely to make it worse because Grade 2 involves a partial tear that can be made worse.

It is quite evident that the betting money does not believe KT is playing - or if he does play he will be severely limited.

But we were all told by Bo Bounds earlier this week that turf toe is turf toe. There are no grade variations.

If “working” to play means he has been practicing, it would indicate that he is at least half way through recovery. The first half of recovery would have been 100% immobilization.

He absolutely can hurt it worse if its a level 1 (strain) or a level 2 (partial tear). If its a level 3 (full tear), really can’t hurt it worse, but also he’ll never be close to 100% until surgery, which would end his season. And of course it’s a huge amount of pain.

So, he’s either got a Level 1 or Level 2, which would be much better for his long term outlook, but makes it a very high risk to play against LSU and maybe even OU. Or, he has a Level 3, and he’s never going to be Week 1 - Week 4 Kamario again until 2027.

Neither of those is scenarios is great for this weekend. He’s either not going to play, or he’s likely going to play pretty poorly due to pain and lack of mobility.

Even if he does play he will probably be quite limited - probably no scrambling or darting through a crease in the pocket for a quick 15 yard pickup. Once that threat is gone they can pins their ears back and “get after him.”

Let him play. Just have a toe truck available if needed.

Our non Fluff backs couldn’t get past the LOS against Bama. How exactly do you bleed the clock when you go 3 and out with no yards gained? Jethro Puckett isn’t leading this team past the 50.
So we can't move the sticks... then go slower and the give them fewer opportunities.

Call me dumb then. Under the circumstance, that is what I would do.
You must not have read all the people telling me that when I said that's how we had to play against Bama.

Yes it's obvious we need to control the game as much as possible and that is how to do it with lesser depth.
