For the championship game: 2.9 million (peak 3.7 million)

WNBA finals Game 2: 1.3 million

LLWS >>>>>>>>> WNBA

People would rather watch 10-12 year old boys play baseball than watch grown women play basketball.

Saw a guy, Matt Walsh I think, talking about how the ?nba had its best year ever for viewership, etc, and still managed to lose 40 million dollars.

Not surprised. We get to reminisce about our Little League days.

And, to be clear, I could give a rip less what the viewership is for a WNBA game, except that there are constantly articles written about how great the viewership is. Dozens of articles about viewership for game one of the finals.

If they are going to boast about their viewership numbers, I feel it is worthwhile to point out that they nevertheless lag behind women’s college softball and little boys baseball.

If there was ever a Make-A-Wish pro league, the WNBA would be it. As a matter of fact, it already is, thanks to the generosity of the NBA.
