We have scored EIGHTEEN 17ING points to 85 on us in the last 3 games! This is an embarrassment we are out coached out schemed, yeah yeah yeah the money. But a true coach gets the most out of his players. Don't you dare come asking for more money for tickets next year Selmon!

Bear Bryant used to say it is impossible to make chicken salad out of chicken **** and that applies to this offensive line - again. My advice to Lebby would be, stop bringing in chicken **** linemen.***

7 of those 18 were from a trick play that our TE threw. So basically, our QBs have been responsible for 1 TD in three games.

I don’t think the best o-line coach in the history of football could do anything with this bunch. Remember when the homeboy media were pushing the “we’re a lot better on the o-line” narrative? Parrots.
Really what bothers me more is the pattern with Lebby. We look good for the first four games and then don’t improve, don’t develop, don’t adjust, and we look like dog crap the rest of the season.

We spend enough on baseball to make us competitive in the only sport that really matters. Baseball is a luxury sport now. We can’t afford it.

The OL was literally not a problem tonight in any way. Great take, Boomer.

I know, Bruce. I agree. But when others in the SEC started to spend money on baseball….our gig was up. We can keep up enough to survive in the sport that pays the bills….or we can go under in them all.
State could spend every dime in the Athletics Department budget on football and the Admin would still hire a dumbass assistant coach they can pay $4.5 million who couldn’t coach the team 1972/1973 Miami Dolphins to 6 wins!

What makes me mad is that this clown Lebby will leave State someday with a boat load of money and for what. Do we ever get what we pay for? I know our coaches pay is near the bottom but deadgum we are not paying chump change either. Pay this much for 1-3 sec games is a total rip off imo.

Well I gift you that GIF so every time you feel you need to post on this board about how NOT spending every dime on football is a horrible mistake you can just post that GIF and we will all know your monotonous thoughts on the subject. It will save you time from having to use all those words.

Find it club sport fan. Find where I posted the OL will be great.
Is that supposed to be some sort of burn in your mind, boomer? I would ask if you are that dumb, but it's obvious, so no need.

I will gladly link the post where you stated our coaches had a "damn salty" portal haul and you were a "fan" of the OL...with Lebby "upgrading the roster."

To which (then), I argued that the OL transfers seem to be weak and/or unproven...and you went on an emotional tirade about how I shouldn't question Lebby and "discredit" the roster and that I (and everyone else that suggested we be cautious with the transfers) was "out of touch" and not good fans.

Sure, I can do that.

Yeah, I was repeatedly told that this offensive line would be an upgrade. I requested specific details on how the players preferred playing certain techniques like steps and so on. All I received was a generic response stating that they were all simply better and that their misuse was due to their origin. Mr. 77 mentioned in multiple posts or threads that this offensive line would be a significant improvement. That’s true, and to deny it now would be dishonest.

Now, to be fair, I don’t recall him explicitly stating that they would be exceptional. It’s also true that anyone who questioned this received emotionally charged rants filled with spelling errors and insults. I’m certain he’ll label both of us as morons for even questioning it now, but I was present during those conversations. The hallmark of arrogance is the inability to admit mistakes.

I'm not going back to dig through every one of his eruptions but I remember it being early in fall training camp and he was going off about the rest of us hadn't been there at practices like he had observing them and all the improvement blah blah blah

Umm, excuse me. You didn't consider giving up 7 sacks last night "a problem in any way"? Seriously? Swann was taken out hurt on one of them, but that's not a problem?? "Great take".......

Our OL is a lot more talented than at any point since Lebby has been here. Not to mention adding Mason Miller to the staff to help coach OL

I don’t get the pessimism. We played at times last year above our talent level. We have now increased our talent level at pretty much every position. We have upgraded our staff with additional support staff on both sides of the ball. And bring in an experienced DC. We have tremendous talent and speed at WR, Fluff at RB,(watch out for Kolin Wilson at Rb2) we are getting national hype on our QB, we return a lot of talent on the DL and added Evans from AM and Williams from FSU, our LBs will be much better with Brock coaching them. Our secondary has a chance to be special with Smith, Jones, and others. This team has a chance to create some waves this year.

I’m ready to put down my predictions based on what I have now seen and what I have heard.
I don’t think most of you understand the talent level we have in this team. It’s very very good.
Honestly the on field talent and coaching talent is good enough for a possible 8 win season. Now saying that, we would need to go unscathed in the injury department. I see this team taking that next step this season and getting to 7 wins, and again you could talk me into 8.
I think we have two games at home that could go either way and that’s why I have them as a toss up. I know a few of you all are going to have some, let’s say strong opinions, but most of yall that do, didn’t attend practice nor have you any other information other than your opinion. Either way it’s going to be a fun year.
