I think this is it honestly. Gas money, high tickets, and high concessions makes it difficult for the average fan to attendI noticed right before halftime of the Georgia/Florida game that the seats were mostly empty b/d the 20's
there is a point where you price yourself out of a customer
Making it as easy as possible to stay home and watch the game practically free in comfort vs. going to the game, endure the hassle, and spend next month's gas money. It's amazing it hasn't dropped off more.I noticed right before halftime of the Georgia/Florida game that the seats were mostly empty b/d the 20's

Fact:I think this is it honestly. Gas money, high tickets, and high concessions makes it difficult for the average fan to attend
That’s a sorry *** excuse. As we tell ourselves in the car business, people are just waiting for the election to be over.
That’s part of it……I think some would still show up to watch a Liberty bowl team if 1/3 of the team wasn’t going to opt out for the Liberty bowl.Once you know you can't make the playoffs, nobody wants to watch a Liberty Bowl team except from their recliner
Think about what it probably costs our fathers when we were kids, going to a game. $40???I think this is it honestly. Gas money, high tickets, and high concessions makes it difficult for the average fan to attend
No one wants to spend a thousand dollars to go see a 20 year old that will get paid more than most people will earn in a lifetime **** the bed.I think this is it honestly. Gas money, high tickets, and high concessions makes it difficult for the average fan to attend
I was watching some yesterday and thinking it wasn’t just that I knew our players, it was that I knew key players for every team in the SEC and elite players outside the SEC. Not having that investment and knowledge lowers the interest level substantially. The game also lost something when no one knows any of the players ****
Dear God he is joking! Go to genespage with your ****** monologue! That’s a sorry *** excuse.
They priced me out except for a game or two every couple of years in 2012, and I lived in Starkville then. The product just isn’t worth it for me when all the games are on TV. I do think TV has a lot to do with it.I think this is it honestly. Gas money, high tickets, and high concessions makes it difficult for the average fan to attend
When I went with my dad, we drove down morning of the game, maybe ate a pimiento cheese sandwich in front of Dorman once or twice a year, went to the game, left immediately after and were home an hour after the final horn which was usually about dark. (This was for Starkville games. Jackson games were the same with a later arrival back home)Think about what it probably costs our fathers when we were kids, going to a game. $40???
**** you can't buy 4 drinks and 4 hotdogs for $40, now.
I’m not THAT old.Dear God he is joking! Go to genespage with your ****** monologue!
