Brings up something I've been thinking about lately. Remember when we made fun of "Red Zone Mazzone", Tuberville's OC at Ole Miss. He could move the ball, including with some "wow" plays. But he couldn't score. That's us now.

We got rolled by a team that isn’t really that good and by one of the most overrated quarterbacks in recent college football history. First pass of the game summed it up perfectly. Should’ve been a pick and instead gets tipped and it’s what, a 47 yard completion or something like that?

That’s us for many years in a row. I quit counting

It makes me want Tennessee’s loss back as a win. Score wise, it gave Tx padding but stat wise in my opinion it doesn’t do anything for them. I do think with a 9 conference game schedule we won’t see many true *** whippins because now the coaches are scaling back to prevent the worst of injuries. Idk. I hate it. Beat your opponent’s *** always.

3 years to build a roster and this is what he has come up with. We are in the same exact spot we are in when he got here.

If Kamario didn't grow up in Macon this is team would be 1-7.
I was about to write without Taylor at this point this is a 1-7 team and our HC is unemployed. No way you can extend a guy who depends THAT much on ONE player!

our defense did the job it had to do as best it could, and if we had a reasonably functioning offense, we could have made a game out of it

It was tipped at the line of scrimmage and was fluttering. Unfortunately our defensive guy couldn’t jump but 4 inches off the ground! And since the other defender was playing switch with his thumb from butt to mouth, he was frozen in time and couldn’t make a play. And compound things State didn’t have a wide receiver or running back fast enough fast enough to run down a 335 lb dlineman on an 84 yard scoop and score! Only 1 guy to blame for that lack of talent!

The less desciplined team (and the one destined for failure) is the one w/ the most turnovers and penalties.

We need an SEC caliber offensive line more than anything. Last night was embarrassing. Our offense would look a lot better if our OL could keep our QB’s from getting hurt or constantly pressured. If only ifs and buts were candy and nuts.
