Well deserved

Why? Mike Norvell went to an NY6 bowl and went 13-1 3 years ago. According to folks on here, shouldn’t that be good enough? And his buyout is $50m. That’s a lot.

I got some colleagues who are FSU alumni/boosters and that buyout could of been 75m . They wanted his butt gone asap . They have been embarrassing the last few years.

[UKWildcats1987]

Surprised they didnt wait til year end.

His qb gets hurt a few years ago and the rest is history. Sadly for him.

Im a fan of mid-season firing. Why waste time? Pope get with it bud.

Here we go.

Carousel season taking off

Getting bumped out of playoffs by bama really put a cloud over that program that they haven’t been able to shake.

Cue the Nick Saban, Urban Meyer…Will Stein talk.

Our coordinators are going to get talked about as well maybe not for FSU or big gig but all the staffing turnover…our guys will be sought…

This is how stupid you are. You’re so dumb and busy posting stupid crap all the time that you think I’m a Pope fan. You’re an idiot as is anyone that likes your day in day out stupidity.

Mark Stoops is ready to take F$U's call.

You’re getting awfully offended by my remark.

lol. I’ll type slow so you can follow along this time. If you think it’s “one” comment, you’re even dumber than I thought. It’s your all day every day stupidity.

This thread is about Mike Norvell (football) and some of you nutjobs can’t leave it alone. Truly pathetic.

I’m starting to wonder if coaches with fat buyout clauses are tanking on purpose just to cash in that lottery ticket. Apparently Norvell’s gonna walk away with a $50 million parting gift. Stoops must be jealous.

I wonder if there’s ever gonna be a breaking point where universities have been burned enough times to finally realize they need to show more caution with handing out these insanely generous contracts.

[bigblueinsanity (the real)]

With the buyout and timing makes you wonder if they have their next coach lined up.

Hey id be happy for him. I doubt he has any big calls waiting. Not sure how hot his name is anymore.

We need to just lock our guys down. Nobody should take Stein away from us. Let’s see how good J Batt is at locking down and hiring coaches and raising funds.
