He does less with more, no thanks.
Like the guy that rakes in AAA ball and gets to the big leagues and can’t get a hit.Dude felt like he could beat anybody at Memphis and nobody at FSU... strange.
$800K per month thru the end of 2031 per Pete Nakos. A dude can live pretty well on that.$51M buyout. No reason for him to ever take another job. And he's not all that good.
Unless he is married.$800K per month thru the end of 2031 per Pete Nakos. A dude can live pretty well on that.
. . . . .and what her credit card limits are . . . .Unless he is married.
Why give a crap with a buyout like this?$800K per month thru the end of 2031 per Pete Nakos. A dude can live pretty well on that.
Head Coaches are becoming like the every day employee now. They want the job to get the dollar sign but leave out the work part. The schools need to figure out how to put a stop to the big *** buyouts and keep that money in their pockets. I’m sorry but we need to start seeing these guys get fired and leave with empty pockets so they can get a dose of reality of life.
There is not a single CEO of a multi-billion dollar company that gets fired without a very nice severance package.Head Coaches are becoming like the every day employee now. Memphis he won 8, 10, 8, and 11 regular season games.Dude felt like he could beat anybody at Memphis and nobody at FSU... strange.
Norvell had a very weird tenure at FSU. This was his seventh season as head coach, and he had a losing record in five of those seasons. One of the two seasons he didn’t have a losing record, he went 13-0 until the bowl game. Just crazy that they completely collapsed after that season.Memphis he won 8, 10, 8, and 11 regular season games.
FSU he won 3, 5, 9, 12 (13-0 with conference championship), 2, 5, and was 3-5 this year.
Wild to see that he seemed to be building towards success at FSU, then just completely fall apart a year after going 13-0. I know that 13 was against a pretty soft schedule and they got absolutely destroyed by UGA in the bowl game, but still going from 13 wins to 2 seems pretty crazy.
Is it really just losing the edge after signing a fat contract?
You could replace Lebby with "Fisher", "Chizik", "Sumlin", among numerous others, and post the same exact message. And we are about to see about "Cignetti".Just like Lebby, he had a great QB (Jordan Travis).
And just like Lebby, His team sucked when their star QB got injured
I wouldn't put Cignetti in with those other guys. Chizik, Fisher and Sumlin had hardly any success without their star quarterbacks. Cignetti has had success everywhere he's been with multiple quarterbacks, and Indiana is still 8-1 this year without Mendoza. They are winning ugly, but they are winning. You could replace Lebby with "Fisher", "Chizik", "Sumlin", among numerous others, and post the same exact message. It's almost like a great QB can hide the other ills of a questionable coach... temporarily.
I meant now that Hoover seems to be hurt. But yes, I tend to agree Cignetti has more Saban-esque qualities than the other on that list.I wouldn't put Cignetti in with those other guys.
