Well, we knew coming in that Missouri State's pitching would be hard to handle.***
Over the last 16 innings a 5'9", 170 lb true freshman is 4 for 5 and everybody else has 2 hits.

What I'm seeing is that even when there are mistake pitches we are just fouling them off rather than making solid contact.
And we can't get the bunt down and strike out. Can't believe Buckner tried to bunt at that 2nd pitch.
Pitcher coming in has an ERA over 8. We have no chance.
Son of a gun we couldn't hit that starter even once but the bullpen ain't much in the show me state
Some of you need to learn to let the game play out. We get 27 outs, and sometimes, we only need 24.

Well, we win because the hitter was willing to swing at high balls out of the zone. A win is a win though. Needed that one.
Well, MSU won. Why do we always make it so tough on ourselves???
Not sure, but after Dotson got the first 2 guys out he totally lost the zone. He would have walked the bases loaded had the last batter been more disciplined.
Just like we all knew before today: MSU would win today. I predict MSU will win Sat and Sun as well.
What is concerning to me is that we look just like our previous years of hitting brought to you by Gotro. Geesh I know it’s early, it’s cold and usually pitching dominates hitting early but we looked awful against southern and again today against inferior pitching. What is going to happen when we face the best pitching in college baseball when we get into SEC play.
Justin Parker is making up for a lot of deficiencies on the offensive side. We've now only given up 9 runs in 5 games.
