I was ready to fire Klopp yesterday while following the Villarreal match. Good thing they played the 2nd half.

Real Madrid-Manchester City on CBS at 3. Aggregate is 3-4. Madrid has a chance.

Thanks for the nudge, Bernard.

Scoreless at the half. MC had some good chances but the Real keeper kept them out of the net. (It hasn’t been like the first leg, when MC kept blowing their chances.)

I hadn’t been aware of this until I checked just now: the Away Goals Rule is not being utilized in this tournament.

86 minutes in and MC has a 5-3 advantage on aggregate, it’s over. The Madrid keeper is having a good day, just saying.

I was saying to myself that City was the physically stronger team, the better conditioned team, and just like that we’re seeing a fold for the ages.

I really wanted to see Liverpool-MC for the championship. Shucks.

City was in total control until Grealish missed a couple of easier shots -- one was saved on the line by someone other than the keeper, the other was a nice toe save by the keeper. If Real goes on to beat Liverpool, those two saves will go down in history along with the two last minute goals to send it to extra time.

1-1 great match. Now if Levy only opens the purse strings for Dybala. Sorry TheGLOV, may have cost your team the EPL, but you have three more they can win.
