Last week, Clifford was in his sixth year at PSU because no one wanted him. This week, he’s a “Super Senior”. I like the latter better.

Another rule that Big officials can use against select teams when needed….likely OSU and Michigan will never get called for it but will be the beneficiaries of it frequently.

Fantastic start. Defense looked great on all but one play that was a nice throw by Ohio QB. Offense picked up yardage in chunks and marched down the field. Surprised at the young WRs getting early action.

Always love the announcers complaining about games being too long when commercial breaks are the #1 cause. The whole TD, commercial, kickoff, commercial situation is why games are 4 hours long.

I've been curious about this for a while, never saw an answer. Why do teams hold up tarps behind the playcallers on the sideline? First noticed some teams doing this a few years ago and looks like Ohio does it.

damn, nearly with the sack, but Ohio gets the completion in front of JPJ for the 1st down.

Reed blitzing nearly got the QB

Ongoing concern: other than from Chop Robinson, PSU is not getting a lot of pressure from their DEs. Most of their pressure has come from blitzing DBs. (Beamon got nice press on 1 play on a loop from the DT position.)
