Ohio goes for it on 4th & 2 in PSU's territory, and it's incomplete, so PSU takes over with 9:14 left in the 2nd qtr.

PSU's D ran a stunt, there were 2 LBs (instead of 7 DBs), and Hardy had great coverage.

That was a strange play. It seemed that Cliff was either looking downfield for a WR to come free, or was trying to set things up for Singleton out wide. Either way, after Effner got beat, the pressure came right up the middle and Cliff had no chance

Effner effed up.

Why is ABC showing 1000 family album phots of Ohio players and coaches (not one of Penn St, not that I want to see family mugshots anyway)

Its a MAC team not used to being on national TV...David vs. Goliath...and its ABC wont use the two inflammatory words that ABC is ;)

Nourzad in at Center

A couple of nice runs by K. Allen.

Then Ohio's D with a blitz ... Allen got beat by a blitzed, and a TE (I think) got beat outside

And Allen with a nice screen play that gets all the sack yards back, and gets the 1st down

Tarps or some fabric or whatever are held up behind the guys on the sideline that are either making signals or holding up play cards. My guesses are it could be for added contrast to make it easier to see from the field or to shield the view from certain angles so cameras or opponents can't see. I've never heard a broadcaster or coach mention what they are for or even talk about them at all.
It’s so the opposing team can’t match the signals w the play on the field. It’s suppose to help from teams stealing signs

But the opposing sideline can see them? Is it to block the view from the press box? Diaz is on the sideline so...

3rd & 4 from the 6 or 7, and Cliff has to throw it out of the end zone. PSU going for the FG.

Pinegar with a 25-yard FG, making it 19-0, PSU, with 5:14 left in the half

Nice completion by Ohio for the 1st down. Ellis on the coverage. Beamon got some pressure, but the QB made a nice play

ohio has an offensive lineman named Parker Titsworth. Must be a fan favorite in Athens.

PSU blitzed on 2nd down, but it got picked up. Ohio with a completion for 6 yards, makes it 3rd & 4

nice trick play by Ohio for the 1st down. PSU had 3 LBs in on 3rd down (unusual for them), and Ohio used a hook and ladder play.

another trick play ends with a pass play to the QB, and he's tackled at PSU's 1 yard line

TD, Ohio on a run by Bangura

Van den Berg got into the backfield, but Bangura spun out of his tackle attempt
