Sorry but he's been back awhile now he's had time to adjust. He looks absolutely lost out there. What are you guys thoughts?

I don't know, I see potential to be a beast. Nowhere near that now but he defintely looks the part.
He just lost several million because he plays for a self conceited pos. Don't feel sorry for him.
Um... not really. Not enough for a guy multi year wih injury.

I'm so confused. Duke fans and the sports media made it clear that as soon as Giles, Tatum, and Bolden were healthy, Duke was gonna take a steaming dump on every team they played, and then cruise effortlessly into another championship. IS THIS TRUMP'S AMERICA?
The big Egyptian looked like the first-rounder today; Giles, Tatum and Bolden the multi-year players.
Had time to adjust? The kid hasn't played since his junior year in high school. People wanted to give Skal waaaaaaayyy more time after missing some of his jr year lol. Harry won't be fully healthy until me his rookie year in the NBA

Guessing the blame lies far more on his history of injuries than Giles himself. Recovering from ACL tears in both knees is quite the mountain to climb. Speaking as someone who wants to see Duke lose as often as possible however, from a purely selfish fan standpoint, I hope he never manages to pull it together and become the player that he was once advertised to be. I hope he struggles mightily until the day he officially enters his name into the NBA Draft. Feel bad saying that about a young kid, but yeah...impossible to root for Duke or Coach K to have any more good fortune than they already have.
Huh? Dude lost two year's of competition and had to rehab two knees, now he's trying to play competition at a level he's never played at. This is harder than it looks.
On top of that, he's on a team that has a little bit of dysfunctionality.
I see a kid with length and athleticism that, when he gets some time as a healthy player, will dominate his position. I just don't think it will be this year, he's too far behind.
But to say he sucks??? Wow, that's just wrong IMO.

Difference is Giles and Duke are assisted by it and Trump is attacked by fake news.
I think I'll withhold judgment until the KID is healthy before I decide! He's probably doing his best right now. Wish we had him because he'd be a different player!
Giles , when healthly is an amazing player but he is not healthy at all.
Should have sat out this year. Everyone other than Duke fans and Jay Bilas told him to sit including Jay Williams, Seth Greenberg and almost every NBA agent type.
He cannot come back next year, he could tear his ACL next year in a December game and may not be drafted for 2 years if any. He has to hope he stays healthy and he will be top 5 pick this year. He had 3 significant injuries. He cannot get hurt again in college or he may be done for a long time in NBA. I hope for his sake he stays healthy. He cannot risk much more to be drafted, he has to stay healthy.
I would say the disappointing part is Tatum, I mean this guy was can't miss, he has to play with Kennard and Allen firing up shots, Allen acting like a punk. I have heard and read that this is a toxic locker room, many are sick of Grayson's antics and has made team embarrassed to be around, coaches taking up for these punks and the other guys like Tatum. Most saying do I really have to be around this jerk. Laettner without the pedigree or game. Unhappy team
Tatum was top 2 player, he has played well behind Monk, Fox, the kid at KU, Fultz, His game is hurt by the 2 gunners. Giles is work in progress, I certainly hope he stays healthy.
It is a testament to UK and Cal, showcase the frosh, all playing together, UNC and Duke want you for 4 years. Cal wants the best for player and showcases. Hopefully these kids coming up take notice

Yeah, he usually plays tight, but he really got loose today.
He'll probably look like **** next week though.
Giles should have stayed on the bench...looked too skinny and weak every time i saw him sitting on the bench anyways.
Boldon looks slow and out of shape in exhibition games...probably poor work ethics.

Giles moves like molasses. Great rebounder and gets good position down low, but his quickness at this point is not there. Has a very hard time running the floor and keeping up on screen and roll plays on defense. UL attacked him many times. Tatum on the other hand is a whiny little girl, all he did was ***** at the refs the whole game while doing absolutely nothing on the court. Duke definitely has identity issues that I don't think can be fixed in a month and a half. Maybe the selection committee will come in and save face for all the media hype. Give them a yellow brick road to the championship
You can't be out as long as he was and expect to get it all back, I don't think it will happen all year and after that I don't know what he will do. He can still help the team but will have a hard time ever being what Duke thought he would be, if he stays.
Would be amusing if Duke's "three lottery picks" all ended up falling out of the lottery.
To date, Bolden has gone from lottery pick to undrafted, Giles has gone from potential No. 1 pick to borderline lottery, and even Tatum is slipping.
Still a long season ahead and all three players could improve substantially, but if they don't, this could be the last year UK has to contend with Duke for best recruiting class.

I don't understand the "not playing" part. Why would duke give him a full ride scholarship (and at Duke that's ALOT of money) to just sit? If you aren't going to play, don't take a scholarship.
K was desperate and likely crying his eyes out to convince him just to go there and then talk him into playing. K knew he had no point guard, so he needed to get all the help he could get

Feel bad for the guy. He has had to endure a lot for such a young guy, then got bad advice on playing this year. And from what i hear, he is a good kid
giles,tatum ,and bolden dominated by Anus Mamhoud,and this duke front line is supposed to be the best in college basketball. I must be missing something. would the espn announcers please explain to me what it is I am missing? I gues it must be that Mamhoud is the best player on the planet, how else could he dominate this fabulous duke front line like he just did. Oh I forgot this game doesn't count because the rat wasn't in the house.
