Somebody please post updates on the WRH/JK game.

SWINE VALLEY 2A/3A CONFERENCE WEEK 10

Having seen Princeton, JK, and Wallace, I'll throw in my $.02. JK shouldn't have any problems with Princeton. The speed on the JK defense should nullify Teo and the rest of Princeton and could hold him to less yardage than WRH did. WRH/JK: The front 4 of the Wallace defense are for real. I...

    Midway 56 Rosewood 21

The officiating crew must have been paid per flag thrown tonight in this game. In the 3rd quarter there were 1, if not 2 flags thrown on every play for a couple of series against both teams. Holding, PI, offsides, illegal procedure, false start, illegal shift, illegal formation, illegal...

Sad to say, but newspapers are going the way of the buggy whip...... You have to be on social media to give, or get news. I don't remember the last time that I picked up a newspaper or watched the news on TV.

SWINE VALLEY 2A/3A CONFERENCE WEEK 9

Looking ahead in the East, I think Whiteville wins out to finish the season 10-0, but they do have a tough one against SC. James Kenan holds their future in their own hands - take care of business against Aycock and contain Teo, then a big showdown against WRH in the dogpound. Midway should...

I agree, both teams are playing well now and this is a big game. I've seen both play and believe that ED may have an edge with homefield advantage. This one will come down to whoever makes the fewer penalties, mistakes, and turnovers.

Great game tonight Bulldogs, everyone left it on the field for sure. Those front 4 on defense are dogs. We’re pulling for you against the tigers.

SWINE VALLEY 2A/3A CONFERENCE WEEK 7

Great game tonight at Tommy Sloan Stadium. Hats off to a very good JK team. The last 5 minutes was a thriller. Pick 6 by JK, TD drive by Midway, onside recovered by Midway with 50 seconds left and a pass into the endzone on the last play of the game that was ruled out of bounds.

    Football Participation and bad football

Transfers are the biggest problem in our area. For small schools the loss of one outstanding athlete could turn a 8-2 year to a 2-8 years.

SWINE VALLEY 2A/3A CONFERENCE WEEK 5

Princeton has got to be the best 2-3 team in the state. Mcphatter is a great back and is going to get his, unless he gets injured. He began cramping bad in the 3rd quarter and took some vicious hits that sent him out of the game for a couple of plays a couple of different times in the second...

SWINE VALLEY 2A/3A CONFERENCE WEEK 4

Midway 27 - SJ 12. Midway had too many drive killing penalties in the second half which kept them from scoring more, but they get the job done on the road against a quick and aggressive SJ team. Midway's defense impressive against the passing attack of the Trojans.
