    I'm not suggesting there is an extra possession, merely what percentage of when you defer and have the ball at the end of the first half.

    I'd like to see a couple of things when you defer to the 2nd half- 1. Scoring when you have the ball the last possession of the first half and beginning of the second half 2. Win percentage when you defer.

    I said in another thread that Iowa could win or lose every game left on the schedule less Purdue. Purdue surprised me in beating Minny so I've changed my tune a bit. Iowa can win all the games left, they could lose all of them as well. One good thing is that there is that all of those teams...

    OT: Iamaleava done for the year

    The thing I've noticed about the "Peanut Punch" is that it has become extremely violent. It's like players aren't even going for the ball anymore and are just trying to get a lick in. It's a thing in the NFL as well.

    Iowa plays Iowa State, a power 4 team from the Big 12. They do that every year as mandated by Iowa Regents and Iowa Legislature. I agree that Iowa should never play an FCS team, but they do that because? Iowa throws in a G6 type school and then plays in the BIG. That's a pretty typical...
