A look at the preseason Top 10 at InterMat

I concur. If he does indeed possess some Offense he's been cleverly hiding, this would be as good of time as any to show it. He'll be a handful at 174, no doubt.

    Mo no mo

We were desperate, and brought him in. He then more than proved he was worthy of that signing in short order. He was most definitely AA caliber on the mats, explosive as they come. He was going to score some points at the NCAA tournament, had he not made a terrible decision (IMO).

tOSU at Iowa line as of 5:55 AM Game Day

If that spread was 7 points, I'd bet everything I own on the Buckeye's, and so would everyone, which is why it's double that. We hung with some good teams last year, but we've been boatraced on multiple occasions too against top tier squads. Being in Kinnick will help, but our D-Line is...

Hank wins his first road start; the final pass was a great one; how would you grade him

He delivered when it mattered the most. That's an A+ for me. His brain was probably exploding under that helmet, but he managed the chaos and got it done. You need an element of luck in tight games like these, and Hank and the Hawks got some and made it pay off. Gronowski was real solid...

    *****Iowa vs Michigan Game Thread*****

LOL! Defense and Special Teams won this game, as per normal. Kirk hired those Coaches, so good job.

Have we heard yet, is Hank Brown the starting QB?

Heck is OK if need be. I thought he was supposed to be the one with some wheels, but he was a deer in the headlights getting sacked a couple times IIRC. Brown is clearly the better option overall.

Lane the Douchecanoe bowl game thread, LSU at Ole Miss

I'm guessing you and Trinidad are cut from the same cloth. Hypocrite. Look up the definition and see if your pea sized brain can reel it in. Doubtful. 😂

Stick removed..........GFY! (this statement was Trinidad approved 😂)

Sure, I'm guessing Kirk Ferentz and oatmeal thrill you, but not a Top Ten College Football game that goes down to the wire. 😂😂😂

I think it was an F-bomb statement of some sort, but couldn't understand what he said. Not a good look for a kid praising God every few words. His Mama not gonna be happy.

Agreed. I definitely didn't want to see that prick pull it off. This was one hell of a College Football Game! Two Top Ten teams and all the other drama, this one lived up to the hype with some high level play from both teams.

Purdy pays off bet with Kittle

I think he'll be fine. Married a cute Iowa Farm Girl and has more money than he can ever spend.

Purdy pays off bet with Kittle

Good thing for Purdy he wasn't around during Hayden Fry's days. He'd spend his entire NFL career wearing Hawkeye gear to press conferences. (and for the record I think Purdy is a good dude and pretty good NFL QB).

The punt returner position for those who are squawking

Wasn't Lutmer on several pre-season All Big Ten and All American lists? They don't do that for just anyone, so there's a lot of people that do indeed think he's at least "DeJean lite". Which admittedly is a pretty high bar, but to suggest he doesn't have some really good skills just isn't true...

How is that different with Lutmer?
