POLL: What would you rather prefer for this year for the basketball team...

I don't think he returns with either scenario. I've consistently said that what I consider to be a fair standard for justifying giving him another season is: 1) Finish Top 4 in the SEC or make it to at least Saturday of the SEC Tournament. 2) Make the Elite 8. Sadly he automatically gets...

    Garrison quote

I don't disagree with your assessment of Garrison (just to clarify I'm not a huge believer in him at all, I always thought he was a net negative on the floor and technical foul waiting to happen from what I saw). My only nitpick is that in college a head coach chooses which players they offer...

    Garrison quote

Garrison has a personality type that needs a coach that will light a fire under his *** and hold him accountable in order to be the best version of himself. Does that mean he'll magically become Hakeem Olajuwon over night? Other than probably against us, no, not even close. If he does become...

Of course Cal has to have his opinion heard

Live feed of Arklanslop fans going through every post they made in the last few weeks claiming Mitchell didn't follow the rules and shouldn't be cleared to play:

Rank Pope's 3rd Year Recruting Class

Of the options listed I voted B, but I really think it's more in the C+ to B- range. Voting C with Milan didn't feel right to me, though. I have to give him some credit for getting his biggest recruiting win thus far at UK. For me how we ultimately judge this class comes down to how well Wilkins...

Now will people get off Pope's *** and support this team

This was an EXCELLENT job to get this done by Pope. I think he's now put a solid team together. My standard is going to remain my standard, though. Can he win 25+ games? Can he finish Top 4 in this SEC? Can he get to an Elite 8? Time will tell and I'm rooting for him to do all of the above.

    Milan UK

EXCELLENT news! Pope needed this in the worst way. Now time to put it together on the court.

    If Pope doesn't get Milan

Yet we still try to enter into every big time recruitment like we have the money and JMI isn't an issue, while showing almost no interest in more financially attainable recruits that are still better than most of what we're settling for. 🤷‍♂️

BB: Hampton visiting again this week

That's how I see it, but for Pope who wants to "shoot 30+ threes a game" I just think Milan is much more important. Especially with a backcourt that, while talented, have yet to prove they can be consistent 3 point makers at the level you'd want or need them to be. His best players at UK have...

    Milan to UK?

Or, hear me out on this one, hire a men's basketball coach that recruits don't require double the money to play for.

    If I’m recruiting against Kentucky

I'm not sure I could create a player in a lab that would be easier for Mark Pope to recruit than Momcilovic. He's from the midwest, shoots close to 50% from 3 with a high volume of attempts, and looks like Balki from Perfect Strangers. If Pope can't get it done with THIS dude then it's time to...

If MM chooses elsewhere… anyone left?

After Momcilovic I'm not seeing a game changer left on the board and it looks like the NCAA is about to slam the door shut on our "fill the gaps with a couple foreign players" hail mary if the player hasn't dotted all their i's and crossed all their t's when it comes to their interactions with...

    Milan to UK?

Watching this UK baseball collapse while keeping up with the Milan recruitment that (predictably) looks like it's turning into another stumble across the finish line is like getting two kicks to the nuts for the price of one today. The current UK administration can't get out of here fast enough...

    Milan to UK?

That does sound like a Mitch rule ("Kentucky Basketball shall not ruffle the feathers of any other program on campus"). If we've truly got him then he might decide to let them announce it right now to distract from this disgusting collapse.

    Milan to UK?

It really would be nice to have an OFFICIAL announcement of Momcilovic to UK before the end of the night. The longer these "super secret done deal" recruitments drag on (especially for the name brand guys), the worse it seems to go for us.
