    What's the upside

The frustrating aspect of this is that we've signed quality recruits. Petras was a 4-star who broke Jared Goff's high school records. Hank Brown was a 3-star who originally signed with a quality SEC program. This coaching staff is not developing them. If anything, they regress each year they...

Who the hell celebrates that moment?

Injury updates & Depth Chart: Hank QUESTIONABLE (AC Joint Sprain, THROWING SHOULDER). Lutmer, Deshaun Lee & LJ Phillips AVAILABLE. Tyler Brown OUT

I'm not sold on either QB. Obviously they have different play styles and different strengths. Both seem very room temperature to me. This isn't the cupcake Big 10 West anymore. If we have playoff aspirations these types of QBs just ain't gonna cut it.

    Diaz, Dwight, or DJK?

Any one of them if only we could have somebody like Stanzi or Beathard throwing to them.

NFL Declines To Hold A Supplemental Draft For Brendan Sorsby

I'm sure he'd love to get in on this prop bet too 😂

5 to play 5, no more redshirt

Don't some of the service academy teams (Army, Navy, Air Force) typically have players that fulfill a couple years of military requirements prior to starting their athletic careers? I certainly hope those schools are granted some sort of exception.

    Texas Tech QB gets eligibility

Another example of rules and laws not equally applying to wealthy institutions and individuals. Didn't Noah Shannon lose his senior season for placing a small wager on the woman's basketball championship? And was only caught because of a warrantless and unconstitutional FBI electronic...

    Drew Steven UDFA

Moody bounced between 3 teams and spent time on practice squads. He got the yips in San Francisco and they cut him. Ended up on the Bears practice squad and was elevated to the active roster a couple times while Santos was hurt. He hit a big game winner (don't recall against who). Then...

Miami linebacker Mohamed Toure plans to return for his eighth year in college football

Obligatory reminder that Drew Ott couldn't get a medical redshirt 5th year.

TJ Finley joins 7th college team in 7 Years

Soon they will be legally classified as employees/contractors and not students and there will be no class requirements.

    Allen Jr.

He was a former 4 start recruit but his development was delayed by several injuries. He never beat out the older guys just ahead of him (Hurkett, Llewellyn). Now maybe he's being surpassed by younger guys? Maybe he wants a situation with more guaranteed snaps for his final college season?

Rhys Dakin transferring to Mich St

I thought international players couldn't have NIL deals? Or has that loophole been closed?

    Fastest guy on the team

100 yard dash time? Who cares? I'd rather have a Derrick Henry on my football team than a Usain Bolt.

    LBs

Look at the defense stats from the Indiana game. Our top 4 tacklers were defensive backs (Entringer, Lee, Lutmer, Nwankpa). Look at how many were credited as solo tackles. Lee had 6 solo tackles! This position group doesn't have talented playmakers like we're used to seeing over the past two...

--Iowa Two Deeps & Game Notes vs. Albany--

I only noticed this because I'm waiting to see if Luke Elkin makes the Bears, but who's Iowa's long snapper this year?
