Football GAMEDAY THREAD: Rutgers Football versus Maryland

And and how he scribbles notes on a small piece of paper on his fingertips. That really grinds my gears. 😏

    Schiano Men GITT

My heart is with you on this. But, I also think other people have a point. The slow starting seasons. The "close but no cigar" games. You can't help but Wonder if we need to seriously consider an alternative.

Football Rutgers Football names Dylan Lonergan starting quarterback for 2026 season

The running back usually ends up on the opposite side he started. Something's changing.

Football Rutgers Football names Dylan Lonergan starting quarterback for 2026 season

The doubt was not unwarranted. AK improved A LOT throughout his first year.

Football Ian Strong to the Transfer Portal

IMHO, everybody is worried about the wrong s***. We could have two KJ Duffs, two Ian Strongs and 3 Antoine raymonds and we still wouldn't be any better off than we are now. We need lineman on both sides of the ball! Average skill positions could do okay with good linemen. Even though I think we...

FB Recruiting Rutgers Football RB Gabe Winowich enters the Transfer Portal

I get this but to some, the game is only worth playing if you can be in a position you want to be in. Being on the field doing anything else doesn't matter as much. A position change can be soul crushing to some which I think is completely reasonable. I felt that way about football.

    The 2nd coming of Gavin.

AK is an upgrade and gives us a good chance to win. He makes a lot of good throws. He also is consistently inconsistent. Two things can be true at the same time.

    AK: Apologies if repeat thread

Short memory. Defense is the unit that has given us the chance to win up until Wisconsin. AK and the offense have 1 breakout game and everyone forgets that offense has had issues scoring points on the big boy teams. The offensive line can't block consistently and AK was missing layups. The thing...

    AK Looked Good

I feel like that interception was on AK. If he places that ball towards the sideline it's a reception.

What about FuboTV? I've been able to watch just about every game I want using it. Except for that one Rutgers game that you had to subscribe to ESPN+ for.

    Let’s Be Realistic

PSU is always ranked in the top 25 and has not been able to beat those two teams. Those two teams are in the top seven almost every year. Shiano has to beat them in 4 yrs to prove he has the program on the right track? A lot of football fans in general are completely delusional and out of touch...

When does Greg’s seat get hot?

TCU was preseason ranked. Rankings don't mean anything until about the middle of the season. Do you honestly think TCU is a top 25 team? They are 500 at 3-3 right now. Not letting things play out seems to be a reoccurring theme with you.

    Point spread for Rutgers-Wagner ?

The one year I went to a lot of games was when they beat Louisville and they were number two. Mostly because the next teammate of mine was working for the athletic department and getting tickets. I had no idea they were going to have a breakout year. I like watching it on TV better than being...
