I wouldn't call her a "UK" fan. She likes UK basketball and it appears that is as much as she really cares about. As for football, it's not going anywhere. It's the most popular sport in the country by far. Football is king in this country and basketball is only popular in little pockets...

I think it is hilarious when people talk about her being such a huge "UK fan" and such an "ambassador for UK". I've never saw her at a football game or heard any announcers ever talk about her being there. I doubt she could find Commonwealth Stadium if you stuck her in the middle of the blue...
