My thoughts on the team after 1.5 games

So we spend millions to get the best 3pt shooter in the country and he only gets 4 attempts. Anybody else thinks this is a problem? Just didn’t see any plays designed to get him open.

I feel badly about my JQ comments now

Injury prone? So your imply he gets injured a lot. What other injuries did he have?

Kentucky's Mark Pope addresses fan bitterness on social media...

Yeah I'm right there with you. I really liked him after year 1 but after having 2 years to see his shortcomings he's not going to get it done here. He's philosophical interviews are like finger nails on the chalkboard.

My letter to Mark Pope (please read Coach)

OP true statements you made but of course he will never see it. But it’s amazing how people on this forum get pissed off so easily. Not sure what’s to get upset on what you posted. Any ways the low IQ and immaturity of this board increases daily. It’s a place to express your thoughts but today’s...

Please, without being nasty, explain to me why our recruiting efforts are almost beyond belief ?

lol he doesn’t know X’s and 0’s. What games were you watching?

    Stokes to Kansas

True but why do you want Cal just to get recruits? He’s not winning another natty. Anthony Davis is not eligible to play in college.

    Every expert says it’s Kansas

Good news is UK will have a new coach after next year!

    Why Do You Wants Stokes?

Apparently you don’t understand what this thread is about.

    Why Do You Wants Stokes?

So where do they have to finish in the league and tourney to be a successful season and keep Pope?

    Why Do You Wants Stokes?

Do you believe getting Stokes at this point will cause UK to win #9 next year? If Pope makes it to the Sweet 16 I doubt he would be fired. Many people on here, including myself, would like to see a different coach. We don't know what next years final roster will be. So I'm asking if you get...

Real Talk - Pope is Putting in the Work

It obvious in so many ways and so many levels he is WAY over his head. Just because somebody wants to do something doesn't mean they can. Coaching a blue blood is very difficult and few have the ability to do so and be successful. He's only here because he played here. Lets just hope the...

    Derek Anderson on Pope’s Struggles

That's why there's a bench and a coach. There's a coach to show and demand you do the fundamentals (assuming he knows fundamentals). And a bench for the player if they don't. Yes they're making money but you can't tell me a player would be fine setting and not playing? Not a fan but Knight "a...

    Derek Anderson on Pope’s Struggles

You would think this article would "blow up" on this board and show just how flawed Pope is as a coach. Just like this article points out the lack of coaching basic fundamentals. I mentioned this so many times about the bigs not having any post moves. BG in the program for 2 years and not...

So bottom line, is it JMI or Pope ?

    Thank you. That’s my point.

So bottom line, is it JMI or Pope ?

I’m not sure why this is a question. How many players has Pope got to the nba? Kinda of obvious to me for the amount of years he’s been coaching.
