Lilledahl's Olympic aspirations almost necsssitate a move to 133. Making 125 multiple times during the season would not allow him to get big enough. He needs to be a "small" 133 who only cuts a few times to 57kg to maximize his potential.
Penn State has 2 champs that can't improve their scoring by any significant way in Mesenbrink and Barr. Lilledahl has a chance to up his scoring and Penn State has the ability to increase their scores at the 7 other weights.
It will be very difficult for Forrest to increase his scoring based...
Most officiating scandals have lead to changes. The Roy Jones Jr. robbery lead to changing how boxing was officated/scored, losing wrestling gave us the paddle system, the Referines calling Tony Johnson OB ultimately lead to the replay system.
This will probably be forgotten with the NFL...
The MAC has asked the NCAA to consider the game a win for Western Michigan. Turns out the replay officials didn't follow protocol.
This is looking more and more like the '72 Olympic basketball game.
You aren't a paying customer though. You may subscribe to Fox Nation solely to watch RAF but you don't subscribe to RAF, that's a very important distinction.
I cancelled after the 2nd brawl and swore off RAF but it was available under Heat PPV on a certain box that many people have.
There are tiers and placing Doucet in the top tier based off one great draw doesn't seem prudent.
Feldman was struggling a bit last season but still except for injury default, he'd have face Doucet in the blood round. Doucet loses that match and he's right where he's been every other...
I thought it was always understood that Connor Mirasola was the superior recruit/talent of the two and by a somewhat significant margin. If Doucet is in the Cole Mirasola tier then Connor Mirasola would be a tier above both.
IF Ross was the starter, then even Cole Mirasola would be favored...
I'm not sure OKST would be favored at 285. Doucet took 4th but Feldman lost by inj the round before facing him and Ferrari MFF to him so it wasn't like he ran a gauntlet. Cole Mirasola lost a close one to Carroll and Doucet then beat Carroll 1-0. Connor Mirasola is probably favored over Doucet.
Gibson and Busiello both overpowered kids around the same age. Eventually others caught up and passed them when they physically matured.
Villafane lost 9-8 to Wax at Pan Ams and avenged that at U17 Worlds. I'd put Wax as a top 5 pfp right now who would have doubled at U17s if not for...
Villafan and Wax are only freshman but they should be 1 and 2 at 106. I think Villafane is the best recruit in the nation if it's not Boyle. I rate them both above Miller.
I also can't understand Iowa's recruiting thoughts. They have 2 and 3 at 132 and 3, 4 and 9 at 138. Spending that much...
I wish they used technology in GR. It would be very easy to have "time with back to closest edge while foot is out of inner circle" set by technology rather than have the mat official decide since so many matches end 1-1.
The OB areas on the mats are really small. I've already seen multiple wrestlers get their heads bounced off the floor and contiuation in GR isn't nearly as prevalent as in Free.
Check around the 7:12:00 on Mat 1. Peak for the US bounced his head enough that side officials were giving the X
