MJC Seems to be Done - 319 Career Carries

And he only got the ball nine times a game, on average. Against the studs, he got a total of 35 carries, which is a whopping 28 percent of his carries for the year. IMG: He carried the ball 15 times for 109 yards, averaging a powerful 7.3 yards per carry. Bergen Catholic: He carried 12 times...

MJC Seems to be Done - 319 Career Carries

Not true - you have seen him way more. I was aware of this monster from Decatur via Edgy, watched one DeSoto game when he was a sophomore, saw maybe 60 of his 88 carries last year, tracked his few track appearances last year and each carry in the MTC game. I WAS HIGHLY IMPRESSED! But if you've...

What teams do you consistently see play each other in the regular season and playoffs?

Triad and Highland seem to clash often. Freeburg and Columbia too.

Week 9: the Game we've all been waiting for

Flyer comes north for your viewing pleasure. I mean, some folks used to rent Faces of Death, so that might be your thing.

I see the opposite - low use back whose LEGS are fresh. A collarbone can happen to anyone. But his overall body is pristine, like finding a 2007 Corvette with 10k miles under a tarp in a barn. Polish it up, flush the fuel, and you have a monstrous machine in no time, undiminished.

Totally agree - secure the bag, but it is a loss for fans. I mean, Kid averaged 11.5 a carry throughout high school. He was going to be the feature back this year, would have been involved in the passing game and was another year developed. I wanted to see what he could do to school boys before...

MJC Seems to be Done - 319 Career Carries

During his 2023 freshman season at Decatur MacArthur High School, Myson Johnson-Cook had 94 carries. [1] He optimized those 94 attempts for a massive 1,343 yards, averaging an incredible 14.3 yards per carry on his way to 20 touchdowns. His stellar freshman campaign earned him a spot on the...

MJC Seems to be Done - 319 Career Carries

Here are Myson Johnson-Cook's year-by-year high school football statistics, including his carries, rushing yards, and touchdowns. This was his on;y injury season. Last year, there were the two other backs, plus the WRs who needed to eat. The year in Texas, he was a sophomore who was great, but...

MJC Seems to be Done - 319 Career Carries

What a shame - I would have loved to see him at top form for the early games and the playoffs. That could have been something special. Myson Johnson-Cook is out for the majority of his senior high school season after suffering a broken collarbone. [1, 2] The standout four-star Auburn football...

    ESL @ NNHS next week

ESL v Alton clips ... it was truly remarkable at how efficient they were putting up points. I heard the same about last week at West ... three plays max to score. And #72 is at least 6/8 - he towers over his teammates on the line who are exceptionally large humans.
