    Wouldn't say "anyone" would be better. It does feel like this bad voodoo isn't going away until we get rid of Pope though.

    Obviously the staff wasn't positive, otherwise why go for Mitchell? If we don't go after anyone else now, basically throwing in the towel before the season has even begun.

    Pope has to try to get someone imo. No real way to spin that the staff is happy with the roster as current, otherwise why try to get Mitchell? To stand pat now basically tells everyone you are a S16 roster at best.

    I'm beginning to think it might be best for UK and Pope to part ways. Pope can't be enjoying this anymore than the fans, a new start for everyone might be for the best.

    If he is eligible under the NCAA, but not under the new SEC rules, why not just sit him out of SEC contest? Play him in non- conference games and in the NCAA tournament. Would that be workable?
