Burroughs asked about coaching at Iowa

If that is accurate, why would they be waiting for Goodale to make the call? Get an agreement in place with Burroughs and move on.

    EARLY 2026-27 lineup projections/discussions

Unfortunately I think you are right, Vega is going to be a nightmare matchup for Van Ness. Shane has always appeared to be one of the smaller 149s and is one of the reasons he gets trapped on bottom against some of the longer guys. I foresee Vega turning Van Ness shots into his own takedowns...

Five in Five - What Might That Look Like?

Another year for Luke Lilledahl as well. Penn State's studs in the lineup for 5 years instead of 4 can only be a good thing from a team perspective.

Transfer Portal 2026 + Other team movements

Five in Five - What Might That Look Like?

Taking this a step further, what happens if a wrestler who barely qualifies for 5 years, like Bo, wants to transfer in college, does he lose a year if he transfers to a school that started their academic year later than his birthday? I haven't read the proposed rules but I suspect the answer is...

NJ champ Pettit commits to Iowa

Definitely an interesting pick up. Everything finally comes together and you see a big jump in ability. Cassar is a good comparison and if you want to take it a step further, Mesinbrink is another example. Granted those are some lofty comparisons but a nice pickup this late in the recruiting...
