The biggest difference to me is experience. A lot of KM kids came in 6 years playing experience less than our other Cleveland County school teams players. KM Elite deserves credit for being the first program to be in an open weight league. Coach Scott at KMO tried for years to get them to join...

    Shelby vs Lincolnton

Lincolnton has the athletes but not the line play to make them more dangerous. The athletes make them dangerous because the qb will scramble around and a db can only stay with a receiver for so long before they get free and then can make a busted play a touchdown. Besides the 2 no longer...

I definitely pick SC over Lincolnton and believe you have the defense to beat Burns just not sure about the offense.

    Crest vs South Point

Thats the thing, im sure SP has improved from when I saw them a couple weeks ago, but i have a feeling that ball is going to be on the ground at least 5 or 6 times. A lb hitting the qb on every play will lead to more pitches and more defensive opportunities. With Crest front 7, its going to be a...

    Southern Piedmont 2A/3A/4A - Week 7

I know Shelby won't have 2 of the 7 starters missing from the SC game for the rest of the season, but will the others be back anytime soon? That will determine how they finish this season out because last Fridays Shelby team was nowhere near the Shelby team at the beginning of the season. By the...

    Football Western Foothills 4A/5A - Week 6

The newer Catholic School in northern Mecklenburg county has effected their numbers. They used to get all the Catholic athletes but now familes have a closer option instead of the commute from northern mecklenburg to Southern mecklenburg.

How is the team built for the future? I came last night and was following the roster and seen a lot of size and production are seniors, how's the next group coming up?
