    I was a senior in high school in 1970 and my sister (UK student) got me a student ID to attend the UK/LSU game: Issel vs. Maravich, with the colorful Lou Bello being one of the refs. This was my first game in Memorial Coliseum, and I will never forget it. They both scored in the 40’s or 50’s...

    Scalpers?

    LOL. Ducksy was not a squatty red haired scalper. He was fairly tall and thin. Most of the other guys worked for Ducksy. I was at the coaches hotel during a final 4 in the 80’s and saw Al McGuire give Ducksy 8 sets of tix to sell. Ducksy was quite a character and SI even did an article on him.
