    The Colorado case that is referenced in relation to Haines is dealing with things at the federal level. Reed, Mendez, etc., have state court rulings backing them, which makes them good (unless they get overturned).

    No. Reed's case is tied to one in Ohio that currently has him eligible. The NCAA is suing the Ohio governor in that regard, so I guess it could change at some point, but I suspect by the time it gets through the courts the season will be over. But, we'll see.

    That’s what Cael Sanderson was talking about in his interview at media day. Embarrassing is the word I believe he used. And it is. But right now the NCAA just continues to be stuck on a legal carousel at seemingly every turn. I think this win might help slow some of that down though.

    Because people (not Levi, even though it would have applied to him) keep suing them, so they must defend themselves to get these outcomes instead of being able to enforce their own rules.
