    Horrendous recruiting

You could say that after the fiasco with Rashaad Carruth (For those of us that remember) that Tubby quit recruiting those type of players because he was getting that elite talent up to that point

RIP former LSU coach Dale Brown

The National Championship team of 1978 only lost 2 games, one of those was to Dale Brown...1986 Regional Finals, Eddie Sutton's first year..Lost in Regional Finals to Dale Brown..We had beaten LSU 3 Times during the season but couldn't get past them for the fourth time and his "freak" as he...

    How is Pope still here?

We're in year 3 and they're (Media Posts) already putting Pope at the top of the "Hot Seat"..And believe it or not the hiring of Will Stein and the success he has had will put even more pressure on Pope...My guess is he needs to be in the Top 3 in SEC Standings and at least a final 8 appearance...

BB: Will Kentucky beat Texas Tech Exh?

You can cut the tension for UK Basketball with a knife right now. Every game including exhibition will be under a microscope. Yeah this game doesn't mean anything but for UK fans looking for some positive vibe, it does mean something. And with the success of a first year football coach, the...

BB: First Impressions Pope Year 3

I think the Mitchell Fiasco took alot of wind out of the sails for BBN..He was supposed to be the difference maker so you go from B to a D for me.I just don't see it with this team or Pope..Hope I'm wrong

    Remember this about Pope

At least with the Milan signing and Moreno coming back, there is some optimism now. With that being said he has to produce this year and produce big such as 1-third place finish in the SEC and no worse than a Final 8 in the Tourney IMO..

Joe hall vs Mark Pope...1st 2 years

Yes he was.... maybe Jamal Crawford (if he comes) could be that guy for Pope

Joe hall vs Mark Pope...1st 2 years

I admit I've been a Pope basher and didn't like the hire to begin with BUT that being said, for those of you that remember Joe Hall's first 2 years here...First year after taking over for a legend, got to the elite Eight before losing to Indiana. Next year went 13-13 and I can remember back...

Now will people get off Pope's *** and support this team

I've been a basher but I'll give he and the staff kudos on getting Milan but it will come down to wins and losses and Tourney performance..And for me that should at least a 1-3 place finish in the SEC and a final 8 or better in the NCAA.

    Kentucky basketball pride gone?

No doubt and probably one of his buddies as well..Good Grief what a nightmare this offseason has been

    Kentucky basketball pride gone?

We can blame NIl,MIL,SOB..or whatever. The bottom line is Pope is not closing these guys for whatever reason. And his stubbornness not to hire a GM is beyond inexcusable.

    If we miss on Milan

What about Arizona? are they still in the mix?
  15. Grevey1975

    If we miss on Milan

Pope has wiffed on alot of them but if he wiffs on this one especially to Louisville, this would be the ultimate kick in the n.ts
