    2028 Recruiting

I am hearing the days of Attack kids attending Iowa could be at an end. Currently, only one current player on the roster played with Attack (Journey Houston). "Sources" say Attack director is going the direction of if you have $$$$, we'll send kids your way. Attack doesn't seem interested in...

McCowan pursuit appears to be done and over with. The Georgia kid I thought might be wrapped up by now or very soon. Word is there is a shooting guard from one of the Florida schools interested, but intel says it could come down to Iowa and another Big10 school. Lastly, Iowa could take...

Intel seems that they are entertaining filling spots of what's left to fill out a roster with some mid major athletes. (i.e. McCowan). They also continue to look for one year commitments that fill a need. Also, open to some younger, previously highly rated high school athletes who haven't had...

Again, I would love to add her to the mix. Makes the rotation longer and stronger. I hope my intel is wrong on this one. And, yes if something has changed in the last 12 hours, that may be the most up to date intel that someone else is reporting. Again, would love to see her is black and...

Certainly would be a great addition to the team. I think the reason there is skepticism is because she is going to have to make some concessions to attend Iowa. No guaranteed starting spot, no guarantee of minutes and I am not even sure what the monetary figures look like. I think, from what...

My intel continues to indicate that McCowan is not coming. I hope they're wrong.

    Audi to the Portal

Intel says Audi has agreed to attend Oklahoma State and will be getting around or at 1.5 million. Again, what I am just hearing.

I can't speak to anything concerning the parents. Don't know them nor heard anything bad about them. I think that McCowan loved her visit and would love to "play" at Iowa. I think the Iowa staff would love to add her. But, I am sure other schools (don't know who) are offering starter minutes...

As you know, Divine and Journey went to high school together and played summer AAU together for years before Divine left Attack and Journey got hurt before her last summer of AAU. They certainly co-existed and got along but many felt they wouldn't attend the same college and that it was time...

    *****2026-27 Transfer Portal News*****

I did not say anything about what any of these girls got for $$$. What I have heard is that Iowa is "more willing" to spend more on a transfer with one year left of eligibility than it is to spend big money now on a player with multiple years of eligibility left. Because you will most likely...
