Kentucky 25 in coaches poll, drops from AP

None of these rankings matter until it gets close to playoff time. Everything else is irrelevant. Beat LSU by some miracle and this team will be top 15.

I’ll never fault a coach going for the win. I watched Brooks be a total puss in 07 and not go for the win from the one yard line vs Tennessee and it has made me sick for years.

    Stoops would’ve probably punted. 😂

    The Rafters Cycle

There’s always fans who put coaches on a pedestal and worship them like the people who worship pastors. It was the same on here when Gillispie was here. We had fans make excuses and then ultimately get pissed that he was let go. Small group though. Pope was a terrible hire. Most were not sold...

    State of the Program

Pope is the worst coach who got hired at UK. Gillispie had more success than he did before getting the job. Let’s also not act like Gillispie was left anything at UK to work with outside of a raw Meeks. Pope has had the transfer portal and still hasn’t had success.

Other than the Covid season, you’d have to go back to 1989 to see UK finish lower than fourth in the conference. Pope has finished 7th twice. He’s 20-16 in conference.

It took Stoops 12 years to beat a top 10 team on the road

    The record of those Florida teams. 2018= 10-3 2022= 6-7 2023= 5-7 2025= 4-8

It took Stoops 12 years to beat a top 10 team on the road

That’s true but look how long he was here. It wasn’t under Ole Miss a couple of years ago that he beat a top 10 team on the road. Even his 2018 and 2021 teams couldn’t do it. So yeah maybe it’s an excuse for the first handful of years but not after that.

    Vandy-NC State ending

I’m sorry but I’m benching the QB for this. No way could you be trusted to run an offense when you’re this stupid.

Stein did it in his first attempt. Crazy.

    UofL helping ACC academic ratings

What's the criteria for this? It doesn't say. I ask because Miami has always been known as a very good school.

Watched SportsCenter for the first time in about five years. What has happened to them?

I always associated ESPN 2 with Atlantic 10 basketball or like mid-90s ACC.

Watched SportsCenter for the first time in about five years. What has happened to them?

Well, ESPN ubdoubtedly changed as well. It's focused more on talking head shows which are just excrutiatingly awful. Sports radio jockeys and TV talking heads are an onslaught of mind-numbing ignorance and attempts for sensationalism to achieve clicks. Stephen A. Smith commenting on sports he...

Did MP say why no summer camps today on KSR interview. Was not able to listen.

My kids went to another university's basketball camp for a week this summer. Players were awesome to the kids, coached them for their games, ran drill stations, handed out awards, did autographs, made kids fans. This primadonna, entitled, not giving a crap about the community stuff is why more...

Pope sucks in this regard. Even Coach Cal had a camp not just a one day price grab for a few hours.
