Bought a #15 Flakes NIL jersey after the game

Flakes plays with a lot of heart/intensity - great to see him putting it on his (considerable) shoulders to bring home the W.

    Bowl projections showing up ...

We can do better than that. Still, I have no objections to another good smackdown of James Franklin

That was a great, gritty win in a really tough emotional setup

I have to wonder two things: 1) Does MSU now have an offense? They had a good 2nd half against Illinois, and exposed us as well. Time will tell tell. I was a Fitz fan, then a Fitz critic - with that said he had MSU playing with intensity despite their injuries. 2) Is it more then just...

WR Drew Wagner has been the perfect weapon for Chip Kelly’s offense

Chad Hanaoka was a favorite of mine. The kind of inspiring walk-on story that may be harder to sustain as we gain more success in the NIL era. Hope we do. I will never forget that brutal block he laid on OSU - and the crowd reaction to it. Evidence that - even as everyone obsesses on...

WR Drew Wagner has been the perfect weapon for Chip Kelly’s offense

How great is it to have multiple weapons on offense? And how great that each of them is getting leveraged at different times, in order to keep opposing defenses on their heels? And does anyone remember the Trumpy speed option? We've come a log way.

    Leadership

I agree - great point on Jackson. Every time one of these leaders gets some positive recognition or press, I think of three others that also deserve to be mentioned. What a high class problem.

    Leadership

I've been thinking about the whirlwind of positive leadership changes in our university and football program recently. It got me thinking about a few things: a) From a leadership perspective, our current lineup of leaders is beyond my wildest dreams b) I can't think of a single weak link...

Northwestern frees OC Chip Kelly to go outside-the-box with creative offense

Great article. The fact that coach AT already ran many of these concepts is kismet - and my favourite part of the article. I know kismet is an old person word, but it's the perfect word in this case.

    Fitz Returns with MSU

What's the story with Darnell Autry not liking Fitz?

    Fitz Returns with MSU

He has a lot of good qualities. The defensiveness is not one of them.
