Both my grandfathers served in ww2. My mom’s dad was Signal Corp and served locally at Ft Monmouth and did not go overseas but he was part of the group that invented radar. My dad’s dad was in North Africa and Italy. He got a bronze star for repairing telco lines under enemy fire. The medals...

    OT: what are you watching/reading?

In order to encourage other healthy discussion and traffic on the board here, after suggestions from a few posters we’re trying a few limited scope topics away from SHU. Please stay away from politics/religion. The thread will be monitored and locked if it goes too far south. I just finished...

Our good friend Kevin Hunt passes

On my first Booster Club trip as a student for the 2006 NCAAs in North Carolina, shortly after arriving after partying on a redeye bus from NJ, Kevin pulled me and the two other students who made the trip and gave us each 3 crisp $100 bills and said here’s some spending money for the trip. Bring Back LOTS

Most believe raising the revenue-share cap is a must, but agreement on a figure remains difficult

As a soccer fan I’m a big believer in the transfer fee idea that would replenish the small schools getting poached. I doubt it would ever happen though

    World Cup

USA made quarterfinals in 2002 I believe that was the last time.

    Sha should call Few

I was at that game too. I believe it was Virginia Tech we lost to in the opener.

    Roddie Anderson III

Knock it off with the back and forth personal attacks and stick to the thread topic.

Pool of refs for the weekend

I'm wondering which East regional game is going to get stuck with James Breeding tonight. Izzo vs Hurley vs Breeding might be more fireworks than the game itself.

    Thursday/Friday NCAA game thread

Nebraska blows out Troy and TCU takes down Ohio State in a game that went down to the wire. Wisconsin only up 2 on High Point at halftime, and Louisville up 10 on USF at halftime.
