    I have not seen enough of the top teams. But concerning LWE, they may not win EVERY game, but they are capable of winning ANY game with what they have across-the-board.

    This WOULD represent a real upset. It will take a good team playing their A-game to take down West, who have Kankakee (played LWE tough), HF, Sandburg, LWC & East left after the Porters.

Being deep in to senior citizen status, not owning a smartphone and going to games solo is a bad combination that is restricting me and surely some others that may be down to our last games...

    Weekend 0 in college football had Jonas Williams ('Brook, LWE, Oregon, USC, ???) entering the USC/San Jose State game for the winning Trojans going 5 for 7 with 55 yards.

    Lemont now faces Kaneland and Oak Forest to round out their 1st third of the regular season. After those, things could ease up.

    IMHO, already Week 0 Friday as early as August 14th has a bad feel. I sense a Week 10 with 96 qualifying teams sitting at home could be similar. One and done for this format more likely than not?
