Basketball Rutgers Basketball falls to St. John’s in 4OT exhibition marathon

Calm down, my man. We played a pretty good game, I agree. My point is that St. Johns looks like they have mature men on that team compared to RU. I think Gurdak is a junior and our other big guy, Miteo is just 17. Not knocking RU here. Did you watch the game? We had trouble in-bounding the ball...

Basketball Rutgers Basketball falls to St. John’s in 4OT exhibition marathon

Exciting game to watch but it looked like we have boys and St. Johns has men. Not trying to knock RU but Pitino has semi-pros on that team. Guess that's the state of college athletics now. Still disappointing that after all this time, we still do not have any plays to in bounds the ball against...

Our QB play costing us a 3rd loss in 3 games ?

Humes (#4) also misplayed the second USC touchdown pass, taking a bad angle and allowing the receiver to score. He looked lost out there on several plays.

    OT: Corn on the Cob

The corn was on "special" that day but it usually costs 70 or 80 cents. I think they were trying to get rid of it before the next shipment but it looked and tasted fine. At that price there was no risk in buying some.

    OT: Corn on the Cob

I picked up some ears of corn the other day at Walmart in Old Bridge for 10¢ an ear, cooked it up for dinner tonight with burgers. Some of the ears were "Checkerboard" variety (yellow and white) - very good. Was wondering how everybody eats their corn, north to south (rolling it) or east to west...

    Rutgers Baseball

How do you score only 4 runs on 15 hits. It's hard to do if you think about it. This has been an issue for years under Owens. Watched the game yesterday - no sacrifice bunts to move the runners in the late innings, which I think would have won the game. Many losses where we have out hit the...

    Wow!

I think he should cut his hair as this would cut down on the wind resistance and make him even faster.

Can we PLEASE press the hell out of Minny

Agree but sometimes I wonder if the coaching staff actually spends any time in practice going over how to attack a zone. We always look lost when we face a zone defense.

To watch or not to watch the next seven games?

i: Because I've been watching RU basketball since 1967 and I ain't gonna stop now.
