FC/OT: Attendance issues across the country yesterday…

Heck, I think my folks only ever saw me play once.

    Ticket prices for this weekend

We moved to section NC after STEP hit (from WH)--for a season. That was that. I'll be fair though--hotel costs and age were also a factor. It's one thing to drive from central Ohio for a football weekend at 40 or 50. It's another at 60-65. It was a lot of driving.

    Ticket prices for this weekend

I gave up mine 12 years ago. Road trips are cheaper.

#324 for Joe, 25 years ago today.

    15 was the high--with a stiff wind.

I have a pretty good photo of Mills running for that long TD.... Wonder what ever happened to him after football.

    RIP, Ensign Chekov

Just saw the Enterprise at Air and Space a couple of weeks ago.

I asked Copilot to “show me game day at Beaver Stadium”.

Saw a video the other day where a zookeeper was holding a red panda. It was a lot easier for her, as she had three arms.... AI is dumb--because it is programmed by dumb people.

    Our trip to Ann Arbor

No, not exactly. Had them outside for a reason (might have been a watch party at my house and some kids were playing with them). Was a long time go. They are nice trees and have the advantage of being native plants.

    Our trip to Ann Arbor

One interesting/fun point about the UM Golf Course--it has a ton of buckeye trees. We have a buckeye tree in our backyard that we think came from one of the buckeyes I picked up there many years ago.

How are we going to be competitive?

    And vice versa--see Indiana

How are we going to be competitive?

The real money isn't in local businesses--at least not the kind you are going to get in Central PA. Columbus. for example, has Nationwide, Chase, Wendys, White Castle, what's left of Bordon, Huntignton Bank, Victoria's Secret, etc., etc. Happy Valley has??? Accuweather? Fullington Trailways...

    OT: NLCS, ALCS thread...

Your point was the the Guardians have never been good at developing hitters. I gave you three examples that say otherwise--over the long haul, because you don't develop a player in one season... They just couldn't keep them

    OT: NLCS, ALCS thread...

That does not change my point. That's a three game sample.

    OT: NLCS, ALCS thread...

Lindor, Manny Ramirez, Jose Ramirez?? They develop them but just can't always keep them.
