    There are far more games being broadcast, so you have far more broadcasters. I would say the percentage of good vs bad is about the same, but the actual number of bad ones is higher. I also think there’s a bit of nostalgic remembrance going on with some of these broadcasters from the past.

    He got injured and was replaced by Gehrig, never to get his starting spot back. If he wouldn’t have gotten injured, he may never have lost his spot. It’s not like he was a scrub.
