    EARLY 2026-27 lineup projections/discussions

To be honest, I'm not sure Marcus needs to "bulk" to go 141. He could be eating fruits, salads and boiled chicken right now to make the cut to 134 not that tough and switching to steak, potatoes and carbs will get him there naturally lol.

    EARLY 2026-27 lineup projections/discussions

I am going to guess the coaches didn't randomly go to him this week and say by the way you're not going to school anymore. Imagine it was floated as an idea a while back and they left it up to Jayden what he wanted. If he said I want to enroll and challenge for a spot, they'd say "let's do it"...

    EARLY 2026-27 lineup projections/discussions

I can't see Cael not using James this year in some capacity unless he is that sure of what he has elsewhere. Yes, we have reason to be worried about Kasak's concussions but I imagine Cael thinks either him or Sealey can win 157. I think a lot of people discount Sealey since he got off to a...

'26 Waclow Ziolkowski Memorial (8/29-30) thread

Mitchell went overboard? See that's the narrative non-PSU fans want to push. I 100% am understanding and think it says nothing bad about Caliendo he didn't want to shake his hand. But somehow Mitchell is supposed to be the bad guy? It's amazing what the mental gymnastics people can do is...

    NLWC Practice on 8/27

Looks can be deceiving but it seems most people think PJ is going 157 again, which IMO would imply Mitch is staying 165. If Mitch is going 174 then I imagine PJ would prefer 165 and he would be the better man between him and Jayden (that or who knows, maybe he is really for the team and/or maybe...

FLO's initial 2026-2027 rankings are out

Ok State has points to make up at 141 (literally nothing) and 174 (R16 Facundo, I imagine it'll be Norman and they have high hopes for him) PSU at 133/141 depending on what ultimately shakes out there. Even with uncertainty at 157 to 174 as it stands, PSU already got points for 2, 1, 1 there...

    ONO

The best chance to take Ono down is a folk scramble off his shot. But I almost feel Ono will exclusively look to avoid those since he controls the match always. I've seen Ono give up one takedown at 61 ... to Blaze in the last 1-2 seconds of their match and Ono at that point didn't look...

    '26 U20 World Championships (8/16 - 23) thread

To this day, non Penn State (and hell even some Penn State fans) still haven't figured out, kids who commit to Penn State's number 1 priority isn't a clear path to being in the starting lineup every year. Would they like to? Of course they would, who wouldn't. Do they believe they will? Of...

I am hearing Henckel applied for some kind of medshirt for 2026-2027 and has been approved.

    ONO

What if Ono wins a title by going total Iowa style from quarters onward. Don't shoot at all, handfight and shove them out of bounds enough to win 2-1 in SV off stalls. I joked about that when I saw his RAF match but if it works ...

    ONO

Seidel beating Blaze was the most folkstyle win ever. Strong ride out and his takedown on Blaze was off a roll through his back (after Blaze got his leg) that Blaze was not ready for (and Blaze obviously is very adept in folk)

    '26 U20 World Championships (8/16 - 23) thread

I think James will be a 74 still ... albeit with a pretty hard cut in 2028. But afterwards? 100% a 86. He has the same frame as his older brother (ND RB) who is listed at 215 on ND's website.

    ONO

I don't know if he can beat either Seidel or Jax cause there is the scramble factor. But Ono will have fulfilled all my expectations for him if he gets off bottom from either of them and smiles and winks at them after doing so.
