Best concessions- Don't overlook Lemont. Pork chop sandwiches are outstanding, but the shish-ka-bob is truly underrated.

    You get one

Best player I have seen live- I had the pleasure of coaching against NFL HOF tackle Joe Thomas in 2002 when he was at Brookfield Central in Wisconsin. Hard to believe- but he actually dominated a game from the OT position. A true man amongst boys.

This weeks picks. Time to go 5-0: LWE @ Brook- good test for LWE's pass defense, but could be the Beast by a large margin Stagg @ Sandburg- Sandburg is still the big brother in this contest Andrew @ LWW- West in a close one LWC @ BB- BB in a slight upset HF @ Lockport- HF scares me, but...

Another 4-1 week. Can’t seem to figure out LWW. Next week’s HF @ Lockport should be a good one.

    Lockport 42-27 over Bolingbrook

Lockport had opportunities to collapse, but responded each time. Best they have played against the pass- against the best passing team they have played.

I'll give it another shot this week. Here are the conference outcomes for tonight: LWE over Sandburg (and not really close; the Beast is gearing up to make a run) LWW over HF- last week made me a believer LWC over Andrew- another good night for the Lincolnway schools BB over Stagg LP over the...

I hate sitting in the cold, rain, but this Friday's forecast may favor LP over a throwing team like the Brook. I hope so....

4-1 is not too bad. LWW is having a great season. It was great to be watching a game with football weather.

Even though nobody asked, here are my "just for fun" picks for tonight's conference games: LWE over H-F (but H-F will play them tough) Sandburg over the Brook Lockport over Andrew (homer pick) LWC over Stagg BB over LWW in a barnburner (toughest game to call IMO) Have a great weekend everyone!

I was just breaking...my kid plays for Lockport and I'm really not sure which team I will see each week. Right now they are out of rhythm- if they pull together could be tough out.

Looking down the road at the rest of the year, outside of LWE at the top and Stagg at the bottom (although much improved)- it seems like anyone could beat anyone else on any given Friday. Should be a fun ride.

    Feeto's Friday Upset Special.......

What the heck...I'll jump into the deep end. Lockport over the Beast. Why not this year? (not really looking for answers for why not...lol)

Lockport was not expecting Sandburg to run the ball as well as they did. I agree the Sandburg OL is legit.
