I used to live in the neighborhood next to Gtown. An on-campus facility will never happen. Their fans have fantasized about the University purchasing and building on property of the now-demolished Key Bridge Marriott in Virginia across campus, but there’s no indication the University is interested.

    How bout dem Giants

Skattebo fumbled the ball with approx. 1:55 left. Neither team had any time outs. If he doesn't fumble the ball and the Giants run two more plays they can run down the clock and have the last play of the game. Now a legitimate counterpoint to all of this is they should have just taken a knee...

I love how underwater basket weaving is often cited as an easy class but if you gathered 25 random people off the street (or on this board) how many could weave a basket upon request above water, nevermind under water?

What is the Protect College Sports Act? What would the bill do?

Pretty much. If anything it all but encourages the schools to continue deficit spending and adding debt by more than doubling the cap for player salaries. Theoretically it gives the College Sports Commission the antitrust exemption they need to operate without fear of legal challenges. Whether...

Pirates Set To Battle Penn in City of Brotherly Love

The good news is the win against Rutgers looks better by the day. RU beat last week's No. 11 team UCLA then knocked off this week's No. 11 team Princeton.

No vote on college sports bill expected before August

Ted Cruz is the prime sponsor of the bill and chairman of the Senate Commerce Committee, who sat for a newsworthy interview taking place in his home state. Meanwhile, ESPN pays Jay Bilas a lot of money to co-host Gameday during the season which he occasionally uses to air his views on this...

    Ruptures is back

"After the 2019 disgrace against Buffalo, Chris Ash survived a full calendar year because Pat Hobbs should have been teaching law instead of running an athletic department. If there’s one thing for Rutgers’ faithful to hang their hat on after this, it’s that Schiano’s new bosses won’t wait...

Time magazine’s first ever college ranking.

It’s hard to tell because there doesn’t appear to be a detailed breakdown, but it appears that unlike USNWR which ranks Rutgers’ 3 campuses separately, allowing New Brunswick to achieve a higher ranking, TIME combined all three campuses and counted it as one university, which may partly explain...

What do you think as regards SHU?

The Georgetown situation is fascinating to me. Logistically they have never had it easy since they joined the Big East. In the glory days they played at USAir/Capital Center, all the way in Largo, 10 miles or so east on the other side of town, which can take at least 35-45 minutes to get through...
