My Take on the Buyout Costs

Your math is innacurate. It is a $18.5M buyout at the end of this season> Buyout drops to $11.7 million after the 2027 season + Buyout drops to $5.9 million after the 2028 season + Buyout drops to $0 after the 2029 season...

"I told those kids for the last time....you can't come to RU on an official visit and stand on the visitors' sideline!!!!!"

What is Blackshear waiting for ?

He needs to find a college soon- before the late signing day. RU can pull his scholarship in this upcoming semester. IHe's probably VTech or Temple bound very soon.

We’ve had Fran Flips- how about some Panagos Pilfering?

Panagos was actively recruiting DE Wesley Bailey as late as last weekend for Minnesota.

Hafley Officially announced as BC Coach

Rutgers has more cash to get a more established OL coach. OL coaches usually make a bit more and are considered more critical than a TE coach. I’d guess that RU offered Hoffman TE. Maybe BC would offer him the more prestigious OL gig.

FB Recruiting JUCO OL Cedrice Paillant commits to Rutgers

I feel if Ash signed this kid, people would call it a desperate move- given his other offers. The problem with JUCO kids is obviously that you don’t have years to develop them. They have to be at the very least in the two deep if not starting in the first day of camp. Otherwise it really is...

FB Recruiting JUCO OL Cedrice Paillant commits to Rutgers

Actually Cooper had a solid offer sheet last year so this is surprising.

Hafley Officially announced as BC Coach

I wonder if Hafley now targets Auggie Hoffman to come back to BC as their OL coach.

    OT: Hafley to BC??

BC is the safety school for NJ football players who are being tepidly recruited by Notre Dame.

    OT: Hafley to BC??

If you ever met Diaco and Hafley, then you would know they are two different types of people. Diaco has the charisma of an introverted accountant. Not a leader of men in the locker room. Hafley will succeed. Extremely passionate. Knows what he is doing and has the connections to build a...

Why no OC hire news yet? Fire Schiano!

Yeah that would make sense. I have no idea if GS spoke with Aurich but if Gleeson accepts the gig then this could happen. It’s my understanding that Auggie is coming over if the new OC is cool with it.

Why no OC hire news yet? Fire Schiano!

If things break right, this could be the staff: OC- Gleason Running Game Coord.- Nunzio OL-Andrew Aurich TE- Auggie Hoffman WR- Tiquan Underwood

A little disappointed that we haven’t heard of any BC decommits/flips

I thought that he’s coming to RU as TE or OL coach.
