How are we going to be competitive?

Because he did things that disrespected PSU. He regularly had his agent say he was being sought by other schools and did little to nothing to put out the rumor talk. It made the school look bad. To an alum, it was offensive.

Sitake would have been a better option than Campbell

There are lots of reasons why Kraft would be jealous of Chesney or another person, and most have nothing to do with results on the field. I think Kraft is a petty jealous man with lots of motivations.

Sitake would have been a better option than Campbell

I could see Kraft being very jealous of Chesney. No way he would hire Chesney.

Sitake would have been a better option than Campbell

Spent yesterday traveling and didn’t see any games. After seeing the final score of the PSU game and the team and player stats, as well as the surprising scores of several other games, I think Campbell is gonna be fine. Caveat: he needs to recruit a little better, and he has to understand it and...

Campbell’s weird answer today regarding relationship with Kraft

Maybe the money just isn’t available, never was, and never will be. Maybe it’s the reason for success with honor. Maybe it’s the reason fans were told to lower expectations.

    Chesney at UCLA

PSU would have paid Chesney about 3 million more a year than UCLA. PSU is paying Campbell 8 million in 2026 and it moves up to 9.25 million by 2033. He gets a 1 million retention bonus every year. No hiring bonus. PSU paid 2 million buyout to Iowa State. Chesney is getting paid 5.4 million in...

    Chesney at UCLA

That post is kind of vague. Someone can lose interest for an infinite number of reasons. It doesn't suggest the reason. There was media talk that Jimmy Sexton allegedly prevented Chesney from taking the PSU job (Todd McShay). I Googled it and found out that Chesney wasn't represented by Sexton...

    Recap

I think the value of the patch depends on the sponsor’s belief about the viewership the team will draw during the length of the sponsorship.

    Chesney at UCLA

As it stands right now, Chesney is doing better. He was hired a few days later but coached the playoff game on December 21. Campbell was done on November 29. Chesney made better portal moves and put a team together. Whether Chesney will stay ahead is unknown. Whether it’s fair to say give...
