Round 3: Burns @ North Lincoln

The two best passing teams they had seen prior were Newton Conover and Maiden

Round 3: Burns @ North Lincoln

They have plans to work on some drainage issues on the field. The volunteers that take care of the field do the best they can with what they have . They know what problems the field has and there are plans to fix it now that they have a principal and an athletic director that know what they are...

#23 is Ty Williams a sophomore, he is very talented but he not the only talent we have returning.

Round 3: Burns @ North Lincoln

Not as many that returned this year but we have a ton of talented boys that will return Jack and Daniel Carter, Travali Price, Krisjan Snyder Ty Williams, Seth Whitley , and Tic Rathbone to name a few. Our JV team has gone undefeated for 2 straight years as well. The future is bright at NL.

Congrats to Burns. I’m a proud NL fan. We will be back.

Round 3: Burns @ North Lincoln

Has burns always used that saying or are they attempting to mock NL? They use “we the north” too

Round 3: Burns @ North Lincoln

I can’t speak for him...but a few weeks ago Pack was on a local radio show and he said North was much tougher in his opinion than Burns was. His team (Newton Conover) played both this year. Of course teams change and momentum changes and his opinion might have changed by now too. That’s just...

Round 3: Burns @ North Lincoln

That might be exactly what gives NL the edge. They have experience this year with being challenged and having to make adjustments at half time. Each time their opponents have been held scoreless after the adjustments were made.

Round 3: Burns @ North Lincoln

We get caught up on these message boards but at the end of the day these are KIDS doing the best they can every Friday night. Respectfully, every team, fan and school at this point walks away a winner.

Round 3: Burns @ North Lincoln

I totally agree it will be a good game and both teams will need to poised and ready! Now moving this game is actually a funny joke you have there. No way in heck that would ever happen unless it was forced upon them from the state. Their stadium is fine and meets all the state requirements. It...

Round 3: Burns @ North Lincoln

I agree here. NL has multiple D1 recruits. Some for football, some for track and field, and 2A state track champions on their roster. They are fast and they fly under the radar. Nothing that NLHS fans or athletes aren't used to. It doesn't matter where they are who they play people consider them...

Round 3: Burns @ North Lincoln

NL's visitor side seats 750 from what I've been told. Pisgah filled it up and only had about 10-15 people in the standing overflow section from what I could see.

Round 3: Burns @ North Lincoln

while we are talking about common opponents...Newton Conover's coaching staff said that they thought Burns was much better than NL based off film...until they played North. They said North was much tougher than Burns.
