    Iowa Minnesota memories

Good times! Kinnick North - felt like a home game, probably 25k Hawk fans. Security didn’t stand a chance.

Iowa at Minnesota lines as of 8 AM Monday

A row of older Gopher fans just below our group got so pissed that we were cheering that they called security…… fat guy showed up and warned us to keep it civil lol but that *** kicking was criminal. They left mid 3rdQ and the oldest lady - must have been 70 - gave us double birds!! What a...

Everyone prepped for that OR today

I don’t see a downside to that. Also, keeping the backup involved in game action every week is a benefit….. if forced into full-time action later in the season, the experience under center will be useful to the entire offense.

Everyone prepped for that OR today

There is no reason to believe that Ferentz will game plan to use both QBs. The starter will play until injured or a victory is in hand. Would love to see the backup get a series each half just don’t see KF allowing it. Hecklinski has earned the start IMO.

    The Lord must hate Nebraska!

Nebraska was not content to just lose another close game - that has become somewhat passé. Need something new and creative. Hey, let’s watch our own former golden boy come off the bench late in the game and lead two long 4thQ scoring drives to nut crunch us with a few seconds to play!

Iowa at Minnesota lines as of 8 AM Monday

Feels like the game plan. Minnesota does not have a terrible run defense (129 ypg,11th B10) but it is weaker than their pass defense (159 ypg, 5th B10) and it’s a road game off a bye week. Bread and butter Ferentz scenario.

***CC22 and the Fever mega thread***

Cox has held positions as VP, President, COO, and GM with different WNBA teams. If you think her background primarily involves ticket sales you’re an idiot.

Just reviewed Cox’s resume. Your description of her professional experience is wildly inaccurate.

Sit back and climb the rankings

Not sure what you mean about “sit back”. I wouldn’t assume any remaining game as a likely win. Nevertheless, the Washington road win puts the Hawks in a good position to make a run for a playoff spot.

Yesterday we saw footballs flying through the air...

A combination of Iowa scheme and Huskie incompetence. Lester’s offense starting to bloom, I think.

Yesterday we saw footballs flying through the air...

It’s right there in the bible, old testament I believe, something about a “pass over” … which is a clear instruction to throw it.

    Hank or Heck?

Right. Accuracy. Hecklinski’s very first pass was a coverage throwaway. Every subsequent pass was on the money or in a spot where the receiver could make a play. This cannot be overlooked or discounted. Bonus: Hecklinski is unquestionably more mobile/elusive. The RPO and scrambling...
