    Stein talked about Afari not getting reps in the last two games due to them not knowing if he would be eligible or not. If he takes 1st string snaps away from his supposed backup and then is ruled ineligible, we would be at a loss.

    Maybe I am misunderstanding, but the UM model, is just like the UF model, and the UConn model. Transfers and retention. Kansas in 22 was the last team from the old model, which was still mostly based on retention (same as Baylor, Virginia, Villanova, and UNC)

    Yeah probably true. I like our PF combo. They aren't stars but the two of them make one solid player. Reminds me of the early Tubby years with Estill/Stone and then Estill/Camara.

    Thomas was injured last year and Ellis just got eligible a couple weeks ago. I wouldn't hinge my season on that if I was Pope either. Why not get 3 guys that could all be your PG and see which on wins out?

    I think there is something to be said about a guy choosing Providence over UK or Baylor. It's like those two top 5 guys that went to Rutgers one year. To be honest though, we aren't going to get a top 10 freshman given everyone on the current team, sans Kepnang, can return next year.
