    How’s Keegan doing? — On3/HR edition

Tye Jerome has been on fire in 2 games I've seen him. 45 in opener. Sneaky good or just hot for a week? Memphis is playing like they seriously putting the Jai era behind them.

    2027 Recruiting

We have few guys whose eligibility is up. With the 5 to play 5 rule and the portal I assume HS recruiting classes will be significantly smaller in numbers going forward.

    So, Wisconsin...

I'm done thinking I know which team shows up on any given Saturday after the last two weeks across the country. Whisky will be full of themselves( like Iowa before minny) and Iowa will be spitting mad( like minny after Purdue) and it could play out way different. Last year after our close loss...

Why cant we outflank these stacked defenses in the box?

I heard kurt warner today say " the absolute worst play sequence in football is run, run, pass." We do that too much. Hayden got more conservative as he aged. Threw 68 passes at smu one time. But later at Iowa the 3rd and long draw play became common. The cliche is that you do not abandon the run...

This Team Was Never that Good….

Cignetti admitted they seriously considered pulling Hoover, their several million dollar man for a 7th yr backup in 2nd half. I saw plenty of QBs yesterday that missed open receivers. Mainly big ten guys, some sec guys also.

NFL Mentality at Iowa Football. Does it hurt us?

We beat gopher 41-3 last year to make our record 10-1 in last 11 years. We have a 10-1 record vs neb in our last 11. I know we should never ever lose in trophy games but KF cannot seem to grasp that fact.

    Steeler Hawks

Brandon Smith goes down low to catch a 3rd down pass for 19 yards...Aaron rogers dapping him up after his 2nd career reception.

    Steeler Hawks

Just to try to lift my own mood after yesterday's debacle, I am soothing my hawkeye hangover by watching kaden wetjen take the opening kickoff back to 40 yard line..nice. Then I see Hawkeye Brandon Smith is at wr for steelers( got a bad call for unsportsman). I know Yaya black is in there on...

    College games 10/24

Houston hanging in with #10utah,up 13-7 going into the 4th qtr. Parity reigns...7 of top 12 teams that played lost. The undefeated ranks are thinning quickly. We are just over halfway home...sadly ,but most top teams schedules are back- loaded...many upsets occur on back nine.
