    This one is hard to believe. They've been doing well attracting Freshmen since Plantz began leading the program. He has had them in a state championship game in 2 of 3 seasons as the program's HC. Are the kids quitting the sport or transferring out?

    It may just be me aging, but it seems that the lesson of learning the value of team is being severely compromised as the emphasis on the perceived value of the individual takes precedent. High School football was one of the last places where boys could learn that (IMHO) invaluable life lesson...

    I would add Jake Jaworski Player: Member of 2 State Championship teams ('00 & '01) Coach: 2 State Championships ('18 & '21) + 2 Runner Up finishes ('23 & '24) Covid may have robbed a '20 Championship as that squad graduated a lot of talent that mentored the '21 team
